I'm looking at 4 or 5 cards. Don't know how many will get the PS2/VGA connectors, though.
Whether or not I get the time to tinker with them before the summer, though, is anybody's guess...

If at all possible, you should set up something to allow pre-orders. That way you're not just hoping those posting on this thread will make good on their promises when the boards are in stock.
Would love to, but our Sales staff would mutiny. They could shut the whole place down if I create trouble.
But worry not - I'm taking names and I'll revisit this thread as the big day approaches to see who hasn't made their order. Might even hire some door-to-door representatives to help out. . .
It's about time for 'creatures a-stirring' and we've not heard much of a peep regarding the P8X32A-Q44 ProtoBoard progress recently.
Anything that can be mentioned on this subject?
Can do, here's a teaser pic of the second prototype fully populated with the accessories kit. I have tested it's operation and I am now working on the production package, we're still on target for sometime in Q1'07.
Cool 'stack-o-connectors' for mouse, keyboard, VGA, huh? And the tall headers; headers for a daughterboard, or emulator, or logic analyzer, or ?? Amazing, all that power residing inside those headers (Prop, EEPROM, crystal).
A bit of marketing for you since you are such an accommodating group. When it comes to high-pressure sales·tactics I feel right at home with the Prop users.
The picture Paul posted shows an assembled board with the SVGA/mouse/header/resistor parts, but the way we'll offer the board is shown in the picture below. You can get the extra through-hole parts in a kit from us for around $10. Now, the hard news. We were·striving for a $15 price but we·realize it's unrealistic.·The reverse-engineers out there will·know that we can barely cover our costs at this price, not to mention we need to·give our distributors a discount too.·The marketing team has two scenarios under consideration, and we already know which one you prefer! (a) $19.95 and six for $100; or (b) $24.95 and five for $100.
At·these prices we need to move a substantial volume to justify the craziness [the marketing team has gone absolutely mad! - buy it before they raise the price!]. We'll accept pre-orders for the Prop Proto Board. This helps us get a grip on future volumes. I'll work towards getting the pre-ordering enabled in the next week or two
Robo-heads·can mount this on their Boe-Bot chassis, by the way.
The schedule is that this board·has gone to production and we're waiting for a first article. The board works as·specified and we won't need to make any changes prior to production. ·I don't see why it would take more than 30 to 45 days at this stage to have inventory for you.
Well, I obviously like "(a) $19.95 and six for $100" and might also be interested in the VGA combo connectors :)
If they will be available end of january, like your schedule suggests, I'll go for a sixpack :) :) :) as long as USPS insured shipping rates for a sixpack are reasonable (to Canada, V3B 7L2)
Unfortunately my prop projects are going slower than I expected due to picking up a good consulting contract two months ago.
Typed that last one before the pictures loaded.
Yep close enough, I will take it, a bunch of them in fact:)
Love that stacked VGA/PS32 connector.
Prop is a mean micro, how about black resist?
Ron, you listening? make sure you get a bunch for me:)
I've put my pcb layout on hold and going back to playing with the software.
Thanks guys you just saved me time and money with this board.
What is the mounting hole spacings?
We are leaning towards making them availible for pre-order once we have the final articles in our hands (there's some lag between receipt of a new product and it's availibility).
for $15 bucks, this would be the exact product that would enable me to work with the prop. being a "just-out-of-college" poor kid, $15 is a lot easier to manage than $70

Besides Sid's question about the module being prewired, I noticed on the board calling for
a prop clip. In my PE Kit I received a prop plug, so, will the prop plug work with this. or
do I have do buy another device. The board looks really neat. ·

Pre-orders sounds nice :=)
If they were available right now, or soon, make that 10 (decimal, please).
Could sure use one 'yesterday'.

DC power jack, 3v3 and 5V reg, VGA connector, stacked PS2 connectors, access to 16 I/O pins P0-15.
Scket for EEPROM, Prop plug programing pins, prototype hole section.
Taking orders now?

Thinking somewhere in the region 5-10 boards. Exchange rate hurts us ozzies else I would get more to start with.
Any intention to sell bare boards?
Shipping before xmas?
Digikey only has 257 connectors available, don't want to miss out:)

Offer the pre-order for $19.99 (6 for $100.00)
and when they are finally in 'regular' stock then adjust the price to $24.99 (5 for $100.00)
Even at price structure B they are still a steal!
