OBC,
I wouldn't worry too much. There are always people who can't make it because of things that come up.
I'd be surpised (pleasently) if more than 80% attend.

But that would suck to have to turn people away...

I will be in the econo-lodge at 6:00pm too. I want to meet as many as possible before the expo. Don't leave without me...

Bean.

I'll also be at the Econo-Lodge Friday night, but I won't be arriving until maybe 10PM or so (driving after work).

Don't wait for me for dinner. :)

I am staying at a Red Roof Inn in a nearby town. I don't have a confirmed time when my brother and I will arrive, but we might make it for dinner on Friday.

Oh I am so excited for the event. I just arrived from Hong Kong and I hope the little LED demo I cooked up is OK in my lugguage.

I asked OBC and I went ahead and purchase propellerexpo.com and .net. In the next day or two I can get a blog setup with this domain. I can give access to several people for posting if they want. Maybe the YouTube videos can be posted there as well or pictures or the webcam. I don't mind using my hosting account. It is just a matter of time to get it all done.

This is going to be great.

Due to the differences in time zones (and transfering through Phoenix) I wont arrive in Cleveland until 7:30pm. So I will be unable to attend any dinner plans on Friday.

It might be too late, but can I suggest nametags? You can pre-print them or just put a sharpie and stack of stickers where people pay.

Cool, I'll be wearing a royal blue t-shirt with the Propeller logo above the pocket. If you see me at the gate, come up and introduce yourself.

It's otto... a second cousin... and it doesn't end there:) Comes in handy when I'm dealing with real fascists... no-one can claim a more intimate knowledge of the the third reich than me...my family was there... my dad was put on a motor so he didn't have to look at the guys he was killing. But I have as much Cherokee as German in me and my mother was Irish-French and Polish...

For everyone else... google Otto the Butcher... that's what I inherited...

My dad kept graphic depictions of concentration camps(some of which he liberated) in our living room... imagine looking at it at that stuff at the age of five... and then finding out that your cousin handled the finances.

BUT... my mother's sister married a German... and he was directly related to the guy who handled intelligence for the Kaiser. So, no matter where you go in my family tree... it's a problem.

in trouble in some fashion. Are you referring to your funding research of a prop-based minicomputer?

Sorry, I don't have the resources for a dedicated AV link from the expo. :(

But, I will be attempting to setup a dedicated picture link. It should update
images from the Expo room to a website every 60 seconds or so.
I'm told that the same camera can be used to tape the demos at the same time.
So that makes two video cameras that will be recording video for later Youtube posting.

Also, sometime during the day, we'll try to get a Propeller with a PropNIC connected
to the #propeller irc room so people can say hello, and generally tease everyone else.

OBC

I can handle the propeller w/ propnic part I think. I might not be able to provide hardware, but can certainly provide wonderful software.
