    At any rate, how in the wolrd would anyone even smush an RCA jack onto either of the boards? I suppose there is a bit of room on the back of the propmod us, but still...

    @mctrivia--im glad to have now noticed your boards. solves my problem of how to easily make a board for one of my robots and upgrade it anytime with more processing power

    Hopefully you got my own question. As for tax, I don't think they added any for mine. Idaho doesn't seem to tax mailed goods, most of our money seems to come from property tax.

    Pi guy I will answer your question here incasr anyone else has the same.

    Ocassionally the housing around the power supply cracks. This does not effect the function of the part.

    Ok--I was worried about that casing for the power supply circuit as well...

    I'm also trying to figure out what my board layout will be for the propeller design contest, and since there is a shortage of the dip props, I may use the qfp prop. Does anyone know the eagle part that has the same footprint as the qfp prop?

    you can do one of 2 things:

    here is the prop library from eagle website. I have heard on this forum that there is an issue with the qfn footprint (mctriva maybe).

    Or get the dip from digikey. I ordered 10 from digikey 3 weeks ago as of posting this, digikey has 149 dip chips in stock.

    I had my iron to hot when doing the first 1. The pins may be a little off but I got them in my test rig so not to much.

    The top of that indictor is really easy to crack and I don't use my oven for it. Once on I can't fix shorts on the small ic below(though rare)
