So, how early can we press our noses against the glass?

I'm getting a taxi (hopefully) from the train station... Already called a company and said I'll need a taxi at 4AM... But, I think I have enough time to walk to Norwalk if I need to :) I'm hoping that McDonalds will open up at 5 or 6, so I'm not lurking around somewhere in the dark...
Rebekah and I just got back into Orrville (about 1-1/2 hour away) from the Expo center.
The first wave of tables/chairs is setup and it's looking like EXPO TIME!
Had some helpers stop by and move tables and chairs. Thanks guys!
"Guess I'll just have to right some more at the Expo."
Right, like towards the end of your post? Lol, I'm getting tired too this is too much fun. Have a great time without me everybody.
PS,
I was wanting to show my Head Over Heels clone game at the show today, but I've been far too busy with real work over the past few weeks, to do any more on it, So it'll have to wait til either the next show, or a forum release.
So sorry guys.
OBC, can I press my nose to the glass yet? Or rather, move some tables, chairs, etc?

So jealous of everyone at the actual event!
How about a Propeller expo a bit closer to my home here in New Zealand?
Nevertheless, I'll be there "virtually", OBC has kindly agreed to show a video I put together for this event. It gives an overview of the projects I've been doing: DanceBot, ViewPort, PropScope, IODreamkit- and 12Blocks. The 12Blocks demo shows me programming several things- all by just dragging 12 blocks to a worksheet:
- blinking 3 led's at different rates, one with a wait/toggle loop, another with a frequency output, the last by gradually brightening the led with pulse width modulation. I show the output both by looking at the LED's, and using the built-in logic analyzer. The user is unaware that this uses multiple cogs and multiple objects.
- outputting sounds- configurable tones, wav file and speech synthesis. Without recompiling/downloading, you can change the parameters.
- controlling multiple servos with a mouse- shows how a block's parameters can include both text as well as other blocks. Uses Kye's excellent ps2 object.
- outputting graphics- easily edit sprites and vector drawings in the 12block interface. Demo shows shape, string, vector and sprite. Again, change any parameter- like the repeat "step" value, or x position of the vector- without recompile/reload. Also, shows how you can monitor/control variables with other applications- like Excel, python, vb.net, c#, or matlab.
I look forward to your question- OBC has kindly agreed to stand in for me (I'll call into his cell phone...)

Well, I was there and had a nice time. But unfortunately I had to leave early (2PM). But now that I'm back home, I have already got the shiny new Prop Proto USB board they gave me up and running
I really enjoyed the presentations that I had the opportunity to see.
Thanks to all that put this Expo together!

But you·can·call me micro.
If it's not Parallax then don't even bother.
I have changed my avatar so that I will no longer be confused with others who use generic avatars (and I'm more of a Prop head then a BS2 nut, anyway)
If anyone wants to drop by feel free!
