I was really hoping I could get to the NE expo this year and see some of the faces behind the posts. It doesn't look like its in the cards this year.

Take lots of pictures and post them afterward!

I hope you all have fun and safe trips!

I'm nervous of seeing everyone on here! I'm not that good, anyway.

I'll be staying at the Best Western Friday night.

Their web page lists a "computer moden hookup" - that has me a little worried :) .

They want you to think that they misspelled "modern" when really it was "modem"!!

I stayed there last year, and I booked there again this year. There was an ethernet jack in the room that I had to plug into. No Wireless.

Nice pool area with hot tub! and the rooms were clean

From the hotel's site: "All guest rooms are hardwired and offer free wireless internet access"

I guess I'll find out what that means on Friday (I'm staying there too).

Glad to hear good things about Best Western. Are we there yet, Are we there yet.

I see now they have "free wireless internet", then down a few lines "High Speed Internet Access".
I'll take a cable just in case, that way I'll be sure I don't need it.

Can't even imagine 100 mixed nuts all in one can.

I had been planning on attending the show since last year's event and marked the date on the calendar but I haven't been following the thread. So today was the first time I have read the entire thread, I didn't realize it required an RSVP. Is an RSVP required if you don't need a table and just want to attend for a few hours? I'm about 4 hours away so I don't want to drive there and be turned away!

Here's the skinny..

Those of you who are late RSVPing.

I've purchased plenty of extra food for dinner and the lunchtime pizza order can be adjusted a bit "on the fly"
We have 100 RSVP's and 100 doorprize kits to give away.

So....

I will accept 8 additional late entries.
You will be placed on a "late entry" list, and given a doorprize kit if there are unclaimed kits toward the end of the day.

Use the following instructions to register:

Reply to this thread, claim your late entry # here, then....

Email to JEFF@ORRTECH.NET
Subject line: Late UPENE Entry
Please include your mailing address, email address, and phone number.

So, are there tickets or something for the doorprizes? If so, do we have to pay for them?

Thanks.

Doorprizes are for the first 100 who RSVP'd. I have your names on the list.
Those who simply "show up" are welcome to attend, but loose that benefit.

IMPORTANT: (FOR EVERYONE!)

I would like to restate that if you are bringing family, etc, please only claim
doorprize kits for those who will actually use them. If your child, or
spouse won't be using the kit, please be thoughtful enough to leave it for
someone else. One kit per actual person using it, please. Thanks!

Can someone (or Parallax) bring along the SRAM card and Ethernet card for the Hydra? I'd like to see if they will fit in my Hydra clone before I order them.

Thanks!

Hello Microcontrolled!

I appreciate the offer but I already have one of those cards and it fits fine. The cards I wand to try is the 512K SRAM card (since it is wider) and the Ethernet card. I'm concerned about the clearance and if it will fit in the case I made.

OBC, A package is on it's way to you today containing a bunch of items for the freebie table and 3 of my Sensirion SHT11 Modules for the Raffle. Per USPS, you should have it Wed/Thur.

Jeff,

For those of us who are gonna display stuff, do we need a table? When can we show up to setup?

Good Question!

All who are either in need of a table, or are planning to present projects, please be at the Expo location
between 8 and 9. Expo speaking times are "first come, first serve."

Thanks!

I don't have anything interesting to share either. That didn't stop me last year and it certainly won't this year. :)
