It's been too long...it's time for a CONTEST !!!

Ok here's the Rules...
We @ Parallax don't always have the time to jump in and help newbies on these Forums. Heck, sometimes we just overlook 'em- much to our own shame
However a lot of you do jump in and "git 'em pointed in the right direction", and this is Greatly Appreciated!!!
What I want you to do is submit the name(s) of who you think is a "Great, relatively un--sung Forum Hero" that has stepped in the gap and helped out some new-comers with advice or encouragement. You cannot submit more than three entries - so think really hard about whom you submit.
You cannot submit yourself. And let's all agree upfront that there are a certain few individuals (Phil, Mike, Gordon, erco, etc.) that go way above and beyond all the time anyway - you can submit "those types" but what I'm really looking for is the quiet, shadowy, non-glamorous Forumitas that come alongside and help out the newbie in their time of confuse-ment.
Your entry must include a link to a thread (or two) that exemplifies the reason why you think that candidate is worthy of World-wide Recognition...
Of course, the first submission of a name is the winning entry.
All judging will be at our sole discretion. But here's the kicker: Both the Submittee and the Submitter will each get the prize :-)
I have no idea what the prizes will be, or even how many there will be, but they'll almost certainly have something to do with micro-controllers or electronic do-dads or something like that...
Submission Window closes Friday @ 10am Parallax Time (Friday). Winners announced @ 12:30 pm same day.
Go!

ratronic - Dave Ratcliff - he has a number of helpful gems with useful and complete information, like here.
Who doesn't love publison, birthday wishes and helping 24/7? http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?142292-debugging-a-soundless-EMIC-2&p=1125065&viewfull=1#post1125065
Duane Degn always dives in quickly with amazing technical prowess. http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?142810-JPG-Photo-File-Analysis-Using-Basic-Stamp&p=1130775&viewfull=1#post1130775
Martin_H is about as enthusiastic a robot builder as you'll find! He singlehandedly got the figure 8 challenge going! http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?138125-Erco-s-Figure-Eight-Challenge&highlight=figure+challenge
Dave Hein, techno master: http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?142810-JPG-Photo-File-Analysis-Using-Basic-Stamp&p=1130727&viewfull=1#post1130727
And mindrobots is always on top of the situation: http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?142897-How-Fast-Can-You-Flip-a-Pin-Put-Code-Here.&p=1132143#post1132143
I could go on, but I'm already past three ...!
Actually, I was thinking of a project contest with 3 groups in contention. Young users, Old users, and combined collaboration of young and old. Each group would have a First prize and there would be a Grand prize for the best of all.

I'd like to add Kuroneko to the list. He's always ready to help with the obscure and non-obvious issues that people encounter with PASM, and he's done much to help characterize the Prop's more anomalous behavior patterns. And let's not forget his diabolically clever puzzles.
Tracy Allen deserves huge praise for helping with analog circuitry, environmental sensing, and PBASIC extended math, to name just a few of his areas of expert assistance.

You only have one valid entry, if you are playing to win. Nominees must be original to win, according to Matt's rules.
Of course, I would assume that honorable mentions are allowed.
Second Vote: Ken Gracey. Seems to pop in only as needed. (Awe shucks, I forgot, it is his stuff you are giving away!!!!!)
ExDxV has been quietly plugging away with his rather impressive machine vision project: http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?118634-Autonomous-robot-s-navigation
photomankc is machining an entire robot from scratch and it's really accurate: http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?136483-Scratch-Built-Robot-In-Progress
Martin Hodge for making the Propeller ASC and resurrecting the Propeller Platform USB: http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?142983-Parallax-now-carrying-Propeller-ASC
One that comes to mind right now is NickosG and all his work with the S2 and Excel.
http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?137549-Scribbling-sport-team-logos-with-S2-using-Microsoft-Excel
There are so many others to from. Must think.
Jim
I'll take that as an "entry". However your suggestion might win, but YOU can't win anything - my boss would never allow it.
-Outspoken Vocal Underling
-Keeper of the newbie flame
Another person who has helped me out a lot has been WBA Consulting, who helped with the construction/programming of my robot & remote, though he mostly communicated through PM so I can't link to anything specific. Let's just say he's pretty awesome too.
And finally, Robot Workshop. He's kind of like the forum researcher, he's always posting useful links (just look at his recent posts: http://forums.parallax.com/search.php?searchid=966193) and besides that, he's just a really great, helpful, guy. He also had the coolest robot ever at UPENE last year, and he didn't mind to explain how it worked to people who asked.
The only problem with this is the limit of submissions. SO MANY unnoticed people roam the forum, and deserve recognition. Xantos, mindrobots, Martin Hodge, and ctartwell just to name a few that come to mind. They all deserve to be acknowledged.
EDIT: Said "care" instead of "mind", making it sound like "he didn't care to explain it..." rather than "he didn't mind to explain it...". Completely different.
THEY'RE ALL WINNERS TODAY! And we all win together. Send everyone an Eddie, Matt!
I assume this means the first person to submit a particular name is the winning submittor.
While I don't have specific links (does that disqualify me?), I must list:
Unsoundcode - the keeper of STAMP/VB communications
Average Joe - fellow analog tinkerer
markeric - provider of HOSTESS PIES!!

Got to cook dinner for Mom and think about it.
Too numerous threads to mention, but my latest favorite:
http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?137251-Propeller-Platform-CAN-Shield-PCB-Available-(limit-qty)
This guy has been here forever delving out info on BS1, BS2, and Propeller both here and on Nuts and Volts and Servo.
Tubular for his effort hardware side. Collecting so many open source boards is a great achievement.
Jonnymac for providing newbies top quality objects running out of the box, no frills. Usually they are not the most performing option but the more user friendly. The ADC object is an example.
The moderators... I love this forum, and their unobtrusive presence is fundamental. Many are top forumistas, but I think their role as moderators is to be considered separately.. you know, like a superhero.. usually a top forum contributor and sometimes a cat with extra powers..

no links but I believe everyone knows the worth of these three.

Trodoss (Alex) -- I've learned a lot from his example code postings. He's excellent at simplicity in his examples.
