With all those PINGs, one might be inclined to use polar coordinates, how about
The Polar Explorer
and now I've got the Tragically Hip stuck in my head.....at the 100th Meridian...at the 100th meridian...at the 100th meridian...where the great plains begin......
Employees can't participate so I'll throw my suggestions out on behalf of Whit. If Whit prefers he can make any forum member the beneficiary.

...the Germinator, a seed-sprouting, sun-chasing greenhouse on wheels.....
This sounds a lot like my idea I called the Melanomanator - a sun-chasing beach chair that rolls around the shoreline, changing its angle with the day, resulting in the perfect tan.
There's a lot of Nomad robots out there already -- aside from the fictional Star Trek unit -- CMU's Antarctica robot, Chile's exploration 'bot, CrustCrawler's (retired) hexapod, etc.
I'll not debase myself by hyping my own submissions
But if pushed to render a professional opinion (we do designing and marketing for a living), "Orca" really does have that magic ring to it, and I don't think there is another "Orca" 'bot out there, and the kinship with "Stingray" is elegant.
I take it back -- there's a framework for robotics called Orca --- http://orca-robotics.sourceforge.net/index.html. I'm not sure if copyright/fair-use/just-plain-fair etc is an issue for Parallax, and given that one is a software framework and one is hardware, it may not matter.
You could also go back to the original play by Karel Čapek (which must be in the public domain by now?) and use one of the named robot's from the script, e.g.:
Marius
Sulla
Radius
Primus
Helena
Damon
Heh. Full circle -- I think "Radius" showed up on one of your lists, erco.
Then again, the etymology of "Orca" is rather unpleasant:
Their scientific name, Orcinus orca, comes from the mythical Orcus -- the Roman god of death and the underworld, who was also known as a punisher [source: Britannica]. In North America, the indigenous Haida call them skana, which is a killer demon. The Aleut people call them polossatik, which means "feared one" [source: Roberts].

If you got this bot talking and let it deliver the good word (just once, please?) in church, you could call it the Sermonator.
You'd surely opt for the white base in this application.
(That's what I get for running through the alphabet, seeing what rhymes with Terminator)
And vanmunch's robotic farmer Prospero could get a hand from the Germinator, a seed-sprouting, sun-chasing greenhouse on wheels.
Verminator was already taken by Discovery Channel, dangit!
This sounds a lot like my idea I called the Melanomanator - a sun-chasing beach chair that rolls around the shoreline, changing its angle with the day, resulting in the perfect tan.
Or skin cancer.
