Maybe this was discussed previously, I lost track of the conversation, but I would recommend not calling it Prop 2 for fear of getting it mixed up with the actually Prop 2 or Prop II IC.

I will be getting my first batch of PCB back in about 2 weeks. I am ordering props from paralax for this and my propmods on Tuesday. Because I save on shipping, duties, and part cost to order more at once I would like to order as many as I can but I can't afford to buy lots of parts I will not sell boards for. So I am making an offer. Anyone willing to prepay $70 per brain board before Tuesday the 12th I will take $9 off per board(leaving only $90 when I am ready to ship) and ship for free.
Because I have switched to a 4 layer board to allow for P0-P11 to be used as bus pins and make all 32 pins available for access I can not give the motherboard pcb available for free like originally I said(and they are still not designed) I can however give away a small pcb to generate the clock signal and provide power.
For those worried about it not working I will be giving a complete refund if the boards do not work but I am confident they will and will be testing the first one thoroughly before assembling all the others. If anyone has any code they want me to test and post images of feel free to send to me. Just a note I have no tv, keyboard, or mouse and only a 100MHz digital scope.
My paypal account is squarerootofnegativeone@gmail.com
I do not have an exact date for when I could ship but I would estimate it to be 4 weeks so be advised you will be waiting for a little bit.
I thank you all for your time and interest in this project.

These boards are not being assembled by me. But yes I have used those temps(in Fahrenheit) to solder smaller boards. They work well and pretty much match the diagram found on page 2
I gave it in Fahrenheit because that is what the gauges are in on my oven and everyone I have seen for sale. I did forget it was Fahrenheit because it is not labeled and i did the conversions a while back.

Great You may like to clarify degrees F on the other thread. 450 is a bit high but your shorter time may mean the ICs do not reach that temperature on the case.

ya I forgot all about that thread when I realized I had converted to F for my oven. Do you have the link to it? I want to make a note it is Fahrenheit. I do most things in metric but Canada is a strange country being so close to the US. Officially we are metric but we still do so much in imperial as well.
Also the last number is a minimum time. I watch the ICs settle to see that they all set properly.

In Australia we have been metric for years. For some years it was illegal to sell a ruler marked with inches (even both was illegal). Made pcb layout a pain.
The Electrical Code Book of Canada is entirely metric but the numbers look really funny. Because everything was made with imperial numbers 1/2",3/4",1" but they use 13,19,25mm to talk about them.
It is funny that in a world where in Engineering and Medical Trade world wide Metric is the standard. The US refusal to switch to metric for the lay people causes so many problems.
I really do not get why the US thinks there people could not take metric. It is so simple and everything intertwines beautifully.

Search on Digikey - they have lots of neat parts. But not all searches reveal all parts they have so do a number of searches with different parameters.

Not momentary but I guess the CHS-01TA switches used for the optional power switches would work well. Cheap and small. And I am already getting several.

Everything is designed and ready but i am short cash. I had about 20 propmod's people said they want so assuming half of them pay me I can get this up and running.
Final cost at least at first will be $169 as promised. PCB cost has trippled with the redesign so I will be raising the price some time soon but I did promise $169 and it is possible so I will keep the promise.
