I've just cleared the last minor hurtles we had in our contract for Ottawa!

May 15th is established for UPEC (Chicagoland Propeller Expo!)

    Boy - if there is a way to get there I will. I will be in the USA in mid April though for the professional engineering exam....hmmm....how could I extend my trip?

    I tried the Hampton Inn on line and got some outrageous rates, so I called and after a bit of confusion I was told that the rate was not set up yet. Their advice was to wait a few days, then call and ask for either Jennifer or Tina.

    Hope this helps somebody else.

    Hope so. I've used this last year for an excuse to go to CA. After getting there and seeing how nice the rooms were, now the wife has signed up as a person interested in Propellers....lol

    I told her there were plenty of places to shop in CA and she was SOLD.

    We're looking at going for a week for the Prop Expo West this year.

    Quick note:

    I hope that folks are fine with my quick choice of the American Red Cross again as our charity for raffles.
    I had mentioned early on that I was interested in finding a "local" charity of some sort, and perhaps
    if we discover a real local need we can still get involved, but with what is happening in Haiti,
    it really seemed fitting to go with the ARC route again this time. American's may be sick of
    seeing this "old news" now, but I can assure you that the suffering is still very real on the ground,
    and contributing to the Red Cross is a safe bet that our money will be used make an impact.

    I still have about 4,000 yellow LEDs and about 100 6 pin mini din connectors. I'll donate 1,000 LEDs to the raffle and hand out everything else free. These are good LEDs, still in the factory sealed packages. I also have some useless 8 ping MiniDins (about 400!) that will be going on the freebie table. With how much I take off I have to put alot back on!!!

    I've got the loose chip bag - it had a couple I could use (haven't tested them yet to see if they actually work!). Should be able to add a few other goodies to the bag and bring to the freebie table.

    I've been using·a "junk" Demo Board for the last year.

    I will be bringing lots of CCTV cameras, DVRs etc. I was shocked at how they flew off the table last expo.
