I'm in Norfolk, UK (near Norwich)

Strangely, I've not yet found anyone else near me that has a Propeller - but I'm spreadin' the news!

Houston, Texas, 77064
In the northern Jersey Village area.

I'm a total newb tho, having received my first Propeller Proto Board USB only Monday.

I build Tesla Coils, and was only really going to get into Microcontrollers for a AVR based Interupter/modulator
to make my DRSSTC play music through the arcs. The hunt landed me with an Arduino, then a "What is a Microcontroller" kit from RadShack, and then once I saw all the cool stuff at Parallax, I guess i got hooked.

However, If there are more in the Houston area, I would be up for a group.
Count me in.

Great·to see I'm not the only one looking for other "PROPERS" to chat and hang out with for a bit.Looks like I'll have wait a little longer for some-one else to get the bug in my area. Until then I'll hang out here.

Add another Australian to the list. In Canberra this time. There have been a couple of others on here from Australia in the past but I can't think who they are at the moment.

Living on the planet Earth might be expensive but it includes a free trip around the sun every year...

Experience level:
[ ] Let's connect the motor to pin 1, it's a 6V motor so it should be fine.
[ ] OK, I got my resistors hooked up with the LEDs.
[X] I got the Motor hooked up with the H-bridge and the 555 is supplying the PWM.
[ ] Now, if I can only program the BOE-BOT to interface with he Flux Capacitor.
[ ] I dream in SX28 assembler...

New Zealanders are trying to call themselves Australians (Ozzies).

New Zealand is slowly moving towards Australia. However, a couple of weeks ago the southern part of NZ shifted 30cm (1 foot) towards Australia !!!
It was the result of the recent earthquake. see http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/jul/22/new-zealand-closer-australia-quake

Looking at the map I'm glad to see I'm not the only Idahoan, but closest (and only) Idahoan on it is a couple hundred miles away from me.

Another Aussie. This time Sydney.

I've given away props to another friend in Sydney (Kilo140), another in Canberra and another in Tassie. I need to follow up to see where they are with their projects. I'm guessing they are mostly lurking like me.

Love the forum, here most days! But work is all consuming, playtime with props & reading the forum is between when the wife goes to bed and I fall asleep.

Lucky me. I'm just down the road in Rocklin, CA from Parallax. It would be nice to have some meetings here. Fry's has a nice cafe, and they sell Parallax stuff, so there's one possibility.
