Eight years or more effort. A huge pile of money invested. And the P2 arrives in a tiny, anonymous brown cardboard box like a $1 ebay purchase from China.
What did you expect? Marching band, bullet proof limos, and an armed escort ;-)
I had to drop off the live-stream, but grateful that the YouTube recording exists, and to follow up on my "I think I might have a heart attack" comment on the chat, and not to be over-dramatic, I felt weepy when I saw the square wave on the scope and TaQoZ prompt on the terminal.
So thankful that Parallax and the smarties in the community have kept this alive.
I've had a project in mind since the P2 was first mentioned so long ago, and hope I can get in line for a P2/board... Ken, please let us (me) know where to send cash to.
Really exciting to watch the live stream for a bit yesterday. Congrats to Ken, Chip and Parallax on such a huge accomplishment! I can't believe I missed Ken playing the clarinet.
@AntoineDoinel: When do we get to hear your Prop1 drink-tube-recorder-flute?
hmm... a few wires came off from the touch pads, this really needs to be redone...
the extra hardware is minimal, just 4 resistors to get 8 touch pads, and using another mic in parallel with the one on demoboard.
sound generation is done by one SIDcog, but eventually I planned to try the famous slide flute algorithm by Perry Cook.
When I get enough time, I'll start a thread on P1 forums.

Happy, happy, happy...
I guess I'll watch the recording now...
