I think you have a missing option though, "PASM and some Spin", after all most of us can't get our PASM to run without Spin.

yes, from the start, I had planned to do another survey after this - to drill into the areas of most interest.
I wanted to keep each survey simple - just a few clicks so as not to·take away from our forum and/or prop addictions ··· ... don't want to be responsible for any withdrawal symptoms.
Indeed, as we can't launch PASM with at least a small SPIN hook, you have to have both. The reverse is true for many of us who use SPIN and the various PASM-based drivers that others have so graciously provided.· (Can you imagine how *lost* some of us noobs would have been without them? Kudo's to you pioneering folks who had to fight through to the I/O world [noparse]:)[/noparse])
So our next survey --- which will do after this surveygoes a few more days --- will be focused on more details about each language.
