Are moderators/admins able to read the replies to threads that I write, then come to my senses and never submit? I notice they're still there in the edit box when I come back to the thread later.
With current permission settings, forum moderators cannot view your drafts. Content that has not been made public or directed at another user through PMs is currently not moderated.
Administrators hold more extensive permissions than moderators, but they are not responsible for normal forum moderation tasks.
I guess you can always replace your misruminations with something more benign, then hit "Save Draft." In my case, I don't really care if admins can see my drafts. There's nothing there that's any worse than stuff I've already posted -- well, except possibly for some "senior moments" I've been able to censor preemptively.

You are not connecting to the forum over HTTPS so anyone in the middle can read what you did not "post" as well. Like the NSA or whatever bad guys.
Just one among many security holes in the forum.
That's good enough. I was mainly just curious.

One wonders what sorts of things are ruminating in the recesses of your mind. Perhaps they hold the keys to a brighter future...

I think a work-around for this forum bug of lack of explicit DELETE, is to delete the text, then hit Save Draft.
That saves-over the last copy, and what it saves is empty (or just a .)
Checked this, and it needs a non empty sheet, before Save confirm message pops up.
it a single . is ok, or any other non-white space char.
That's exactly what I've been doing, yes.
This only becomes an issue when Tony takes over. I don't like Tony.
