I did find another guitar effects unit called the Howler: The Howler Effects Pedal from Maven Peal - It provides Tone, Gain, Peal and Volume controls it usues a 18 volt adapter,

Eric I think you should really consider renaming your product, if you want to commercialize it. - Unless of course you can prove, that you already used that name and howling wolf logo before Maven Peal started development of their unit. - But still since they marketed the product first it will be tough to claim rights for the name.
They haven' t trademarked the name, we're not really competing (they are different products even though they are both guitar pedals), and we're both small potatoes manufacturers (ok, their potatoes are a little bigger than mine). I've been using this name for 5 years in my head so it's hard to part with it. I've got more important things to work on for the moment; we'll work it out.
