BOE-bot line following

Our school has a Boe-bot with the older line following sensors. We do not have the documentation or software and our young kids are just learning to program.

Does anyone have the old line-following software or a link to it? Also, we would like to get the software that kept it from driving off a table.

Any help would be appreciated!

    Hello Bob,

If you can tell me which line following sensors you have, I will see what I can dig up for you.·· We've had several styles:

Current: QTI Line Follower Appkit #28108 - Individual sensors mounted on standoffs, each one marked "QTI"

Discontinued:AppMod Line Follower #29115 - a preassembled board with black sensors in a straight line on the bottom, will say "Line Follower" at the top.

Discontinued:Serial Line Follower #45203 - assembly-required board with the sensors arranged in a V shape, board will say "SERIAL LINE FOLLOWER" in the lower-left corner.

That's the one we have. I would appreciate any files you could provide. Thanks,

    Hi Bob,

I've found a large stash of files related to that product, including the instruction pdf and an assortment of programs.· I don't know if any of the programs relate specifically to edge avoidance, but I put them all in the folder.· I hope this is useful!
