    Hi,

I'm a friend of Franz Achatz. He quit the company since the revenues drowned in the costs. It ain't easy to have a small company in the EU. So many rules that are ALL enforced.

Franz is OK. He's now working in an engineering position at a major chipmaker's FAB.

His website is down due to a cracker-attack from a guy who claimed to have religious reasons to bring down as much dutch websites as possible. Achatz.nl was hit by his crew and as a result. Franz' webhost took the full site offline, probably being scared it would be cracked any further to be turned into a mailzombie.

The site will most probably be online again around October 2008 but don't expect any Propellor boards in the near future.

@ Jan : As a friend of Franz it may be worth letting him know of the problems others are reporting here and encouraging him to deal with and resolve the issues because he seems to be damaging, probably destroying, his own business and reputation. With what's been said here I wouldn't deal with him nor encourage anyone else to and bad reputation can spread far and wide very quickly.

Things do go wrong, sometimes badly, even with best intentions and most people will sympathise and tolerate such problems but there are limits.

    Hello,

as the webshop is online again I hope that the things should be delivered not far away in the future.
I think he should find time to send out the ordered boards

Otherwise I support to put some pressure on him to pay back the money or deliver

    best regards

    Stefan

    Hello all,

at least i have got my propeller-problems solved, now. My nice Web-Cat Forum got killed by Moslim-Hackers, my OS-Commerce Website got hacked and killed twice the last 12 month by Moslim-Hackers. The Moslims, you can imagine, are my "very best friends" at this moment.
Therefore i decided to stop selling products via my website for the future.
Its an osCommerce-System and when it gets hacked i loose all datas etc....
Personally, i was very, very down with this situation and lost total control to my business and what i can say to you guys is just:
    SORRY !!!!

    best regards
    Franz

    @hippy:

Franz and I have been working on this for a few days now. Things have settled and all is going in a good way. It isn't easy when all your data are killed when some militant decides to punish YOU because one of your politicians (on which you would not even vote when you were dead) said something silly.

Still, I think we have solved this as adults.

A big hand for all! hop.gif
