Error Downloading Code in Javelin Stamp

Hi,
I had the Javelin board working for some time(10-15 times) and·after that when·I tried downloading a Parallax Servo Controller code (ServoControl.java in examples),·it caused the downloading problem for subsequent classes.·

I am now getting Error IDE-0022 - Error reading from the Serial Port(timeout) error everytime·I try·loading any new classes.
I tried reseting, rebooting PC, re-connecting stamp kit, Identify, Test connection, but none of these seems to solve the problem. I also tried looking for some clues in the Discussion Board but couldnt find the solution over there as well. Can anyone please help me with this problem?

Try the attached program.
It primes the javelin to accept downloads but only has been tested with
serial connections, not usb2ser cables. Make sure to use COM1 to COM4.

In case you power the javelin from batteries, try fresh batteries.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for helping out. I already tried the PrimeJavelin before without any success. I get the same error when I run the PrimeJavelinEEPROM.bat file.

The COM port is 4 and I am using USB-Serial converter. Also I am connecting the 7.5 VDC power adapter so I guess the power supply is not an issue. Anything else that might help?

The problem may be your usb driver. See here:

Thanks·Peter. I will try to run the code using some other PC with seiral cable and see if that solves the problem.
