1) Unzip the attached file to a directory of your choice. It will extract to a directory called PrimeJavelin with a folder called Javelin Direct and a file called PrimeJavelinEEPROM.bat inside of it. 2) Run (double-click) the PrimeJavelinEEPROM.bat batch file. It should start up a command window and search for the Javelin connected to a serial port of the workstation. 3) If it finds a Javelin, it will prime that Javelin’s EEPROM in a way that should allow the JIDE software to communicate with the Javelin again. IMPORTANT!!!! For this to work properly, the JIDE software MUST be installed on the computer in the default installation path: C:\Program Files\Parallax Inc\Javelin Stamp IDE And the library files MUST be in their default installation areas: \lib and \lib\java\lang Note that this assumes a SERIAL connection, you can try it with USB, but this has not been tested.
