TV out (PAL)?

I've read that Propeller has TV output, but everything I've read says that's NTSC. As I live in the UK, I wonder if the Propeller can output to a PAL TV?

Also, how do I interface to a TV or VGA monitor (which pins, and what components are required)?

Well, for TV TEXT mode, it's very easy...

What you need is a couple of resistors and a connector.
Take a look at the chematics of the Demo board for the details of which pins and resistors to use.

For any object that uses the TV.SPIN object, there is a table of data which configures the TV.SPIN object at start time. There is a long within this structure called "mode". It's LSB can be set to 0 for NTSC or 1 for PAL.

    Hello !

I´m using the tv spin with the composite input of a a
    terratec cinergy xs usb stick.

NTSC: interlaced + non-interlaced works very fine
PAL:·· interlace seems to work - non-interlace - looks interlaced
········ but both pal modes with poor quality

Works PAL better if using different oscillator frequency + settings ?
I already asked the support of terratec to verify if there is a problem
with non-interlaced at their side -
Is there anything known about pal problems ?

    rgds,
