This thread has gotten poluted or convoluted...your pick!!

So what are you asking? Can the stamp do this?
The stamp can do minimal processing....so it could check the battery charge for you and possibly give you a temperature and humidity reading (so you don't get caught in the rain with your cotton bat suit (j/k).
The stamp is excellent at controlling other devices....so, it could turn on the wifi and turn on the camera...and problably tell the camera to take a picture. But the stamp can't do anything WITH the picture.
It can't do anything with audio either. It's a logic level device....you could connect a circuit that would allow the stamp to 'see' if there is audio, but it wouldn't be able to decipher what the audio is (someone saying 'hello' or whatnot).

So, you've come up with ideas....are you after a bunch of volunteers to do the work for you now?
There are plenty of ppl on this board that help others (whom in turn, sell their product and make $'s on it), but you won't find someone that's willing to jump in to such a 'hefty' project for nothing....and to be honest, this isn't a weekend job (I'm hoping you realize that), so you wouldn't see any progress for a year, and then 10years down the road you might see a finished product...and then you'd find the technology is redundant as someone has come up with a brain transducer that allows us to talk to all our widgets and command them.

You're vision is large, which I think all dreams should be....but get practical and show us what you can do, not what you want to do!

"You can't always get what you want....but if you try sometimes, you might find, you can get what you need....."

PJ - Did you use a Standard BS2 or the BS2px? I have built a similar device (using a BS2) but it only diced, not sliced... was it because I needed a more powerful Stamp?

goonwave technology! Now that’s gold, do you offer it in a wrist watch.· At first I though this thread would be a perfect example for having an ignore feature. After spending an hour reviewing this and the other batwave thread I had moments of laughter that brought tears to my eyes.

Batman may your quest for the ever elusive batwave continue......even though I think it exists as shown in the other forum.

After all these posts, what I want to know is what happened to the $1.35 missing from his money spent/available calculation.· Commisioner Gorden is going to demand an inquery into the missing funds.

First i wanted it to be a calculator, then i wanted to make a solar powered calculator, then i wanted this, than i wanted that. If you look closely am confused, mainly because i dont have the basic stamp 2 or 1 OEM yet, and i never programed a hardware before. So when i start a project thinging big, it wont get me anywhere.) Am starting by making a mouse trap.

    Confusion

I only Programmed in Visual Basic and DarkBasic and visual basic .net. and all three of them i never start by a hello world, alway started with a fighting game/card games. But that changes, because am dealing with a low programming language.

Ok, here's what you do then.
You obviously don't know the capabilities of the stamp, so if you can't afford one at the moment, download (for free) the "What's a Microcontroller" text off of Parallax's website.· This is the beginners text on how to program it.·
You can then move on to some of their other texts (which are all free to download).
You'll find one fantastic thing with Parallax and this forum....you're not charged for information....which many view as being priceless!
So, you're already coming out ahead.· But seriously, go through some of their documents and get an idea of how you could use the stamp.
Also, look for a parallax run course in your area (on the website as well) and participate if you can.

If you can't do any of this, then you're just spinning your wheels....not going anywhere!

    Hey Batman,
What about a '4th Dimensional Pocket'. The Japanese robot, Doraemon has one and he can pull anything you need out of it. It seems there are infinite tools that exist in the 4th dimension that don't follow the normal rules of physics and the world as we know it.

I love creativity and imagination. Thomas Edison would have never invented the light bulb without a dream and mankind went to the moon because of H.G. Well's fantasy. Even Issac Assmov's 'I Robot' is an important contribution to jump starting science to achieve things.

But, you have to accept realities and seek doable framworks.

In sum, much of what is Batman may remain a dream. But we already have the Batmobile and more.
Just try to navigate your dream a bit better. Get into the discipline of learning to use what you have while you dream.
