Some help with a CMUCam

I received a CMU cam a little while ago, and am trying to hook it up to my BS2sx. Unfortunately, the documentation for the CMUCam has changed on the Parallax website to the appmod version, and I can't find the old demo programs. I've got the one with the wires just sticking out the back.
I'm trying to have the camera lock onto an object held in front of it. Does anyone know the source for that off the top of their heads, or at least know where I could look to find out?
