How to get restarted with P2?
Got away from the P2 (3DP, work, life, etc) for a while, time to get back in. Not looking for a flame war, but a look at what tools are there and 1) how well documented their use is, i.e. setup, use, what features that tool offers and 2) are they ready for prime time 3) what will be the support of tools going forward. It has become a bit confusing as the threads have grown like mad (perhaps I need to look more carefully) making it hard to figure out how to set up each of the possibilities.
If I was brand new to this chip, where would I start without mining hours of threads? A page detailing what exists, what capabilities, and how to use it in a locked thread(s) to not diverge into things that won't matter for a while when setting up and learning a tool would be a great help (to me at least). Thanks for the help.

Hi Frank
There is this page - https://www.parallax.com/propeller/ - which eventually leads you to this page, which I think is what you want: https://www.parallax.com/propeller-2/programming-tools/
But even though I knew the page existed, it still took me a while to find it again. The Parallax site is not designed for novices. The first Propeller page you land on should give you the links, but it does not. You have to go navigate around quite a bit to find the basic information you would need before you would want to buy one.
A novice would be very quickly overwhelmed or lost. Especially if they found these forums first!
Ross.
There is P2-Docs button at the top of the forum.
Parallax should also link this somewhere on the view: https://p2docs.github.io/
I don't consider myself a novice nowadays (aren't we all novices?), but still far from comfortable with the P2 documentation.
I would say start here:
@"frank freedman"
I had an issue which took me away and had the same issue. I decided to start again from scratch and
attempt to rewrite the PE kit for the P1 in to P2 spin.
A work in progress.
