It's not just one card make/model. The issue will be unexpected FAT metadata. Probably something legal in the FAT filesystem but is misunderstood by Prop2 boot process.
I've had to wipe the first few megabytes of a HDD to eliminate a reappearing volume in the past. So it can be an issue in other environments too.
