This looks a lot like Bondic. As with many glues, how well it works depends a lot on the application.

Here's a video of someone giving Bondic a try.

I don't think they used the cure light long enough. There is a comment from the manufacturer with information about how to get better bonds.

I'm personally unimpressed with the stuff (I haven't tried it myself). I think there are a lot of better options available.

  • Hi
I've used that exact product a few times lately.
On translucent PETG plastic it appears to work pretty good.
I did not do a strength test on that, it was to seal against rain water on a crack.
    ..
On paper it works pretty good, although quite expensive for gluing paper together.
    ..
On PVC pipe, it does not work so good.
I think the light cannot get past the joint, so the joint does not cure.
    ..
I used it to seal a leak in a porous plastic water push on tube fitting.
Seemed ok after sanding with 100 grit sandpaper.
    ..
I think there are some applications that this product will work pretty good on,
but I believe success will depend on each particular application.
I shine the little blue light for about 30 seconds though, as I really think 3 to 5 seconds is not long enough.
    ..
    Just my 2 cents worth.

@PhiPi - now there IS an idea!

@garyg - thanks - good info - I think I'll get some and play around on otherwise lost causes or new and easy to replace applications.

Yes but you need more than glue:) How do you know you did it right?

    ebay.com/itm/Gendex-Gxs-700-Digital-X-Ray-Sensor-Size-1-with-calibration-file-crisp-clear-/282054768445?hash=item41abc6373d:g:kN8AAOSwWntXMkzP

This one is used, and has only a few bite marks... x-ray emitter would be an extra $500.

Hurry before Erco beats you to it.
  • I wonder if this can be used on the Cricket Kit?

I've never tried this stuff. I would click & order but my hands are superglued together right now.
