$13.50 Drone... Free Ship
You can't say no now... and this cheapie actually has advanced features (see end). At that price, you can afford to destroy one daily.

The Eachine H8 Mini is the World’s cheapest quadcopter to date. Sitting at the rock-bottom price of $13.99, this quad still comes with a fair amount of advanced features.
Most notably, it’s got one-press automatic return. A single push of a button brings the drone flying back to you. With Headless Mode, you don’t need to adjust the quad’s position before flying, and the H8 Mini offers 360 degree rolling.
While it’s not the best drone out there, you’ll be hard pressed to find one with this price-to-features ratio.

Yes, you're right of course. I'm the headless drone for making such an egregious error...
How can they possibly make and ship these things for $13?

My ELEV-8's would get jealous and attack them.

With Guards! Nice.
Brand name "Intruder"! Nice and neighbors will agree.
Seriously, $10 for 4 motors, Lipo (non-removable in that last one), transmitter, receiver with gyros & motor drivers? That's insane.
Hoodathunk that a quadcopter would ever be a cheap stocking stuffer?
Well Parallax did, dropped the price 20%

I like Banggood for their name AND their great music in their videos.
And if you use coupon code "newus" you get 8% off... I bought one for $9.19.
Walter
AND their big ol' casters!
I mean - I have been having to fight myself not to just get it to play with...

I've been instructed to purchase 12 more by the missus. She thinks they will be great presents.
Edit: I just noticed the banggood price went up to $32. I can still find these for $14 but I'd like to find another $10 source.
This thing is so amazingly cool!
IMO, it's a lot easier to fly than the little quadcopters. I think it looks cool too.
I just got another shipment of these and I found they changed the design a little. The hexacopter now includes a small on/off switch. I didn't think it was a big deal to have to unplug the battery but the little switch is convenient.
One big advantage these hexacopters have over the quadcopters is they have a removeable battery. When the LEDs start to flash, indicating the battery is running low, I can swap the battery out for a freshly charged one. It's great not having to wait for a battery to charge before flying it again.
Banggood sells chargers which will charge five batteries at once.
Speaking of batteries. I modified my quadcopter to use replaceable batteries. The batteries I purchased for the quadcopter came with a connector but the battery in the quadcopter is soldered to the pcb. There's not an obvious way to plug a battery into the little quad.
To get around this, I used the charge port as a battery connection. I had to sort out two of the three pins on the switch so when the 'copter is turned on, the power gets routed correctly internally.
I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to make this conversion to replaceable batteries. I've been charging the quadcopter batteries with hexacopter's charger. I had to cut the charger's wire so I could reverse the polarity of the charger's battery connector. It turns out the quadcopter batteries have their positive and negative lines swap with respect to the hexacopter's battery.
I'll try to take some pictures in order to make these changes easier to understand.
Here's a link to the hexacopter pictured above. I'm not sure if the link will work. Banggood has a strange practice of blocking links to their product pages. It's as if they don't want people to share links to their products. Often links to pictures on their site don't work so I downloaded the image and uploaded it to the Parallax server.
If the link doesn't work, just search for "hexacopter" in the Banggood search box and the above quadcopter will likely be the first item in the list of results.
Thanks erco for suggesting the quadcopters. They've been a lot of fun.
Yes, thanks Whit, makes a nice contact picture, to bad I have a contact for it.
I ordered the JJRC H20 Nano Hexacopter 2.4G 4CH 6Axis Headless Mode RTF from Banggood that Duane mentioned and an extra battery.
I've gone thru several "park flyer" electric RC planes and was terrible at landing (good at crashing) but these things appear to be easier due the sophisticated hardware.
Guess I'll find out soon. I'm sure my Yorkie won't be enthused at all!!
I guess these don't have to be registered with the FAA since they are so small and light...
Looks like free shipping too.

It's also wifi/app/smartphone controlled, so it saves them the cost of a seperate RF transmitter. I wonder if there is noticeably more video lag since there is bidirectional phone/drone communication.
I should trademark phonedrone and dronephone before someone else does. Forget I ever mentioned it.
Edit: Price is $33 from China, $30 from US warehouse, go figure.
