What don't the *IDE tools do that you still need windows around for?
I might be mistaken, but didn't a see a post a couple back that says PropellerIDE (the SpinIDE) does not do the memory usage and maybe a couple other functions? Or are those in the plan and just have not been implemented yet?
Except that Ken has told us that PropellerIDE will be enhanced to also support PropBasic and I've heard there is a plan to have it support C/C++ as well.
This would be great, a single tool for the propeller, that does supports all the bits of our prop.
I have been waiting till the tool is ready before I start testing and recomending X as the new environment for Linux. I can wait a little more.
For the time being we have to deal with several tools, but eventually we should have a single tool take will take care of the prop.

You might be right about the memory usage feature. We'd have to look and see if OpenSpin gives any memory map type output. Hmmm......
