The special black primer spray can decided to break it's valve when I took the top off. Picture a guy running wildly through the basement with his hand and shirt over the can to make it outside where it continued to spew for 5 minutes. What a mess.
I wanted to impress erco.. I'll put it back together a Photoshop it, he'll never know.
Once, when I was (old enough to know better) I threw a dart at the fire extinguisher hanging up in my dad's workshop. Nothing happened until I removed the dart... the bubble gum failed to stop and plug the hole... there was a lot of dust...
QRD1114 is just an IR emitter/phototransistor package. The Hamamatsu has internal circuitry with amplifier and Schmitt trigger for better reliability and easier digital interfacing. See first post for schematic/hookup info.

I can also picture a Killer Chrome S2. That would/will be sharp. I wanna see it..(with the Rare Wheel Encoder Sensors attached of course..)

I remember you mentioning it back in the S3 thread, which inspired me to attempt this.

What is the difference between this sensor and the QRD1114 ?
