This is a repeat of forum behavior that reared its head a couple weeks ago but was subsequently fixed. Now it's back. When you click OK in the above-mentioed box, the post gets posted twice and you have to delete one of them.
Okay, but in the screenshot posted the message is still in the editor. Is that message a result of hitting the submit/post button? I thought it was from trying to leave the page, either by hitting back or clicking on another thread link.

Chris,
As I said, I got it when I clicked "Post Quick Reply" after enter my reply to a post.
This is normally triggered by the window.onbeforeunload event in Javascript
Another issue: sometimes, on the what's new page, I can see a thread where I'm the last poster (as shown in the "Last Post" column). Normally this is hidden.
Greetings,
We were looking at the original issue posted, around the time it was posted, and figured out the cause then axed it; however that solution ended up being a breaking change and we were forced to roll it back. The best solution at this point, rather than hunting all the individual problems down since they're all related, is to do a bit of upgrading.
Unfortunately this may take some time to set up, as we don't want parts of the forums to go missing, but we are fairly certain it will clear up a good number of these issues.
The issue stems from a certain java library, mean ol' java.
