So Phil is the culprit!!!! All this time I thought it was stuck back east and it has been in my own backyard! Can't wait to get my hands on it and get the next one rolling.
As a note, as of today the box has been unaccounted for exactly 1 month. If anyone can shed any light on where it is that would be great since the new one is delayed until we finish the old one.
Only three people from the current group have joined the new group on this site. I will be posting the logs (when I get the box back), so please remember to join or accept the invite I sent out to some I knew were on here.
@NWCCTV: Please note that Rich has been offline since 30 March. It may well be that something has come up in his life, as it did in mine, that pre-empts parts-box consideration. I think patience is called for.
@Chris: Sorry, man, I just don't do groups. This open forum is about all I can handle online-social-media-wise.
Yes, I understand this. I was just hoping to have the box before I place my order for items I am needing for the Micro Medic contest. That way maybe there would have been something in there that I could swap out rather than having to buy it.
Having witnessed the recent contents of the parts box -- especially for your stated needs -- I can tell you right now that you're probably better off just ordering form Parallax.

I can change this very quickly. Does anybody know how quickly really nice hardware multiples in my office? Like tribbles! I've got amazing prototypes, production parts, machined parts, sensors, LEDs and all kinds of cool stuff. I could fill whole POD container.
Somebody sign me up and send that box to me! I

Send that darned box over here so I don't have to liquidate at the OPC Junk Table!

Yeah, I also have every part we sampled for the microMedic contest in my office. You could build an android or restore life in my office. Send the box!
The effect I noticed from the TPB is that the Parallax stuff disappeared rather quickly, to be replaced by disused dev tools from competing vendors and other knick-knacks. Not that the replacement stuff was uninteresting, mind you, but it wasn't Parallax stuff -- or at least not Parallax stuff that I had a need for. I guess this speaks well for the perceived value of Parallax products!
So I guess Rich can send the box to Ken and then Ken can send it my way. Being almost last I guess I will not be getting any of the Parallax items I was hoping for. I really do not have much use(or time) for items that are not related to Parallax products. I got a Raspberry Pi for Christmas and still have not had time to tinker with it!!!The items I planned on putting back in the box are pretty much all Parallax or Parallax related items.
I posted a link earlier in the thread and I sent many of you an invite (not actually sure how vBulletin handles the invites). If you didn't receive an invite you can go to the group from the link I posted and request access. I intended to keep community related SIGs on the Parallax website for several reasons. Mainly so more people can be involved. But as Phil said (as have many others) he doesn't have time for more than this site. The Savage///Circuits website will be reverting back to what it once was, so it makes sense to keep the community stuff in a more popular location. Besides, the interest is primarily in Parallax products, so this is where the Parallax community should be.
As for the box, Ken was already signed up originally and we'll be running things somewhat in reverse next time, though mainly I may change some placeholders so keep things running faster.
Amanda, I did get your reply (I got them all) and I will migrate that list over here as soon as we get the current box situation settled.
Good news. I just received a PM from Rich and he said the box is on the way to me. Had some things come up. @Chris, I still have not received an Invite for the next go round on the box.

BTW, I would prefer to be excluded from the next round.
Thanks,

I am next in line and have not received it as of yet, so Rich must still have it.
Hey Phil, do you know when exactly you sent the box on?
I have been keeping an unofficial tracking list on the Box.
Since I'm last on the list, I'm a bit anxious to receive it.
DJ
It left here on March 8th via priority mail to Bellevue, WA.

So, do YOU still have the box?

I was thinking the same thing...
Brace yourself Andy.
