My solar panel kits (and Mystery Bag) came today in what seemed like no time at all! I placed the order later afternoon (Eastern Time) on Tuesday 9/4. It all arrived today, Friday 9/7! It still amazes me how fast Parallax and the US Postal Service can get a package together and delivered from Rocklin, CA to Fort Mill, SC. Furthermore, shipping for 2 solar panel kits, 10 SSRs and a Mystery Bag for only $15!

Here is a picture of the contents of my Mystery Bag!

Very nice Whit! I wasn't sure if the item partially in my picture on the right was part of the bag, since it didn't fit in the bag but it wasn't on the invoice.... soo.......

Hhmmmmm, no book or S2 soldering thingy in my order. Thought that was part of the deal according to Jen's note. Is that my punishment for being greedy and ordering 2? :(

I think the book and soldering kit deal must not apply to the mystery bag. Which is okay.

You placed an order that included something in addition to the Mystery Bag right? If so then the thing on the far left wasn't part of the Mystery Bag, see this post - http://forums.parallax.com/

Should not matter, says with every order placed. Makes no distinction between mystery bag and other products.

So, gotta find out where is mine?

I find it kind of funny (or lucky) that they are selling the BS2 for $25.00 and there is one included in the mystery bag with other items!!!

Well, the only thing I ordered was the Mystery Bag. There was nothing else on the packing list, but I also received a S2 Badge Kit #28236. I didn't get a book. One thing that was kind of odd, in the bag marked P8X32A-D40 that contained a Propeller chip there was also a yellow LED and what looks like a CdS light sensor.

Got no book, no badge, but the led and photo-sensor were in the bag with the BS2 stamp module. The prop chip was laying loose on a antistatic foam pad. No shortage here of Compute modules with GG usb board, tetra-prop, loose 40dip prop, now 2xBS2s. Too bad the bags were unique only if you only ordered one.........

Same here, well almost. Those two things were in with the BS2.

I just noticed the 2 extra things too. I love little surprises like that! One thing that I didn't find was the S2 Badge thing some of you have mentioned. Did I understand it was like the Kickstart book, not part of the Mystery Bag?

The S2 Badge kit that I received was in a separate bag. Everything else was in the "25th Anniversary Mystery Bag". I noticed the Kickstarts book is "out-of-stock", maybe that's why no one is getting them. The Mystery Bags are still in stock and since I need to get a crystal and eeprom for the Propeller chip that came in the first bag and probably a couple of other things as well, I think I'm going to order one more.

I wish I had a successful TV career salary to help fund my electronics hobby. I would have a few more robots in the workshop if that was the case!
