    It seems simple enough, the wheels, encoders, conveyor and runway have nothing to do with it. Once the engines overcome the gravity holding the plane down, it will take off.
    Much like a rocket.

    Someone should make one with a belt speed/bike speed ratio of 1:1. That way, it'll be just like walking!
