Hey Guys,
The Hoverfly boards require a minimum of 5 channels, so a nice 6 channel tx/rx combo works well. You have the normal channels for flight: thro, aile, elev, and rudd. The fifth channel that is required is the Gear channel. This is used to set the Gain of the Hoverfly board. Now the Pro board requires those five, and can also use a sixth(hence a 6 channel would be optimal) to activate and deactivate the "Altitude Hold" function. The boards do require that you use atleast five channels, and upon startup, the board looks for and verifies that the channels are there. If they are not found, the board will flash the trouble mode at you, and not let you arm the board for flight.
..first night flight with the new platform. After the video, and mostly after not crashing the first time up at night, I stayed out and drained the battery! It is super easy to see at night, even when I flew it down to the end of the court, about 300 feet away and 40 feet in the air! FPV here we come!!
Someone's going to post this night version vid in the UFO section. Can you imagine a scaled up version with a guy riding inside over LA in the middle of the night?
These seem to have a lot more control than other vehicles. Maybe this is a better solution for the air car.
We test flew the ELEV-8 today and I could not get the ELEV-8 to hover even when there no inputs to the other control. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong or it in the setup?
This my first time to fly. I have some video if that would help.

A good start would be to tell us about your transmitter, and how you have that set up. Next would be how you have your ESC's set up.
A video would be great to see if you may have Propellers in the wrong location, or the rotation is incorrect.
