Blog question

I've never been a big fan of blogs, for this reason I've not made one until yesterday:
I'm working on a project I wanted to turn into a "Build thread" but in an attempt to not clutter the forums, I decided to start a Spiral_72 blog.
Being completely ignorant of this blog thing, what is the intended format? I thought it would work like any other blog in that I post updates, add pictures, text, video etc whenever I feel I have something interesting to post. I made my first blog entry, which went fine, then I tried to add a second entry using reply.... which does not allow me to upload an image. My solution was to "Make a new blog entry" which looks like a completely separate project from the main tree here: http://forums.parallax.com/blog.php and if the two didn't happen to be on consecutive days, they would look completely unrelated.
Am I doing something incorrectly or is this how it works? Is each blog entry intended for a single project? Heck, I don't really even know if build threads are acceptable (even though I've seen them) on Parallax. Is that what I should do instead of blog?

Very well. Thanks for the tip and I'll do just what you say. I still couldn't get the blog to "act" like I wanted it to even after I posted this.

I made a "blog" and then have separate "entries".
And, FWIW, I do read the blogs.
