Now my floor is littered with boxes of resistors, capacitors and assorted nuts, screws, and plastic moldings. Scattered across my desk are numerous blinky, flashy, clicky and whirry things along with the lab power supply, two VOMs and oscilloscope. I've become the community leader in alkaline battery consumption.
The only issue I see is that primary cell habit! Move to NiMH rechargeables now!
Ministers, priests, and pastor's daughters (my wife), we're an eclectic bunch. Science and religion, co-mingled. I can't be the only fan here of "A Canticle for Liebowitz" and "Angels & Demons"... please tell me otherwise.
I have always held the standard that a good story entertains you, but a truly great story hits you over the head with a tire iron. The four stories that hit me like that in my childhood were the novels A Canticle for Liebowitz and Flowers for Algernon and Asimov's short stories Nightfall and The Last Question.
My addiction to the Propeller is slowly fading as the release of the Propeller II draws closer. My new addiction of the Prop II will cure my Prop habit.
