You forgot to ask if we have delusions of making all the technology from Star Trek a reality, and have it all run on stamps and props... :-) I'm actually partially succeeding at that one.

    And I have a cat.

    math + BACH .

Engineering Physics and Calculus + Fan (white noise) for me. Fan was on an IBM PC/XT clone.
I forced myself to do every single problem in the books that had an answer to make sure I knew it.

I had a customer once who had a loud air conditioner fan in his office, where I spent many hours coding and debugging. I swear, that thing would put me to sleep! After an hour of that intense white noise, I'd have to escape for awhile just to regain alertness.

Many of my university students found me... eccentric.

Like, my favourite football/soccer club isn't from EPL. (English Premier League). I'm more on Bundesliga. Not much topic on that when I chatted with them.

I love playing video games. But I tend to play more Team Fortress 2 since it's involved some more action, and some more cerebral action. Also, I played many old retro PC games.

And funny thing is, not much of my people ever are enthuiastic about reading. I mean, reading books. I used to read a lot on physics, some C++, some acoustics, some linguistics and programming language during my free time. They were just all scared when they hear "Fourier Transform" or "Finite Element Method", despite some of them are Mechanical Eng. students.

And, I listened to mainly Baroque music. I don't know why I loved listening to Bach and the other composers.

I enjoy playing "simple" piano pieces. Bach's Minuets from Notebook for Anna Magdalena are among my favorites. I like to play others from Beethoven, Chopin, Hayden, Pachelbel, and Tchaikovsky. I also enjoy playing Aerith's Theme from Final Fantasy VII. I've composed several songs in different genres.

An excellent choice, the bigger one is named "Dot", and the smaller gold one is either "Dragon" or "Fly", hard to tell which in that photo.
Both are pan size now, but would taste like Carp... Of course my wife might have some words about eating the fishies...

Is it a bad thing to name your fishies?

    1. Have autistic or schizophrenic relatives?
    Nope.

    2. Are yourselves a little autistic, schizophrenic or eccentric?
Eccentric? Sure I'll take that over some other things I've been called.

    3. Flap both your hands when excited about a prop design?
    Not into flapping.

    4. Think about Prop programming while doing other work?
    Oh yeah.

    5. Have other people think that you are daydreaming all the time?
    Always.

    6. Cover your ears when encountering a scary PASM code?

Many of them are quacks, anyway.

    14. Talk to yourself when trying to figure out a complex problem?
Heck no. With two dogs and three cats, someone is always willing to listen.

    15. Prefer to hack the Propeller than go out on a hot date?
    Again, no comment.

    16. Can't hear people calling your name when watching a movie or when engrossed in programming?
I've started to tell people that I have a genetic hearing defect that affects a portion of the range of frequencies
that the human ear normally picks up. I.e., normal speaking voice frequencies. Who knows, maybe it's true!

Leon, your avatar is a cat. You're eccentric.

This forums needs a "Like" button. That gave me a good laugh.

I'm eccentric, but normal is boring. I've been called "Fun guy. No filter." I have a hard time looking at people's faces for a long time when talking to them, but I'm otherwise reasonably well socially adapted. I'm not reclusive, but I have a lot of projects that soak up most of my time. That's not the same thing, right? ;-)

I'm very sensitive to outside noise when trying to concentrate. I listen to electronic music in headphones sometimes while working because it's repetitive enough to tune out easily. I have a very hard time having a conversation with someone if there's a TV on.

My girlfriends usually call my latest project "the other woman". I'm going to bet I'm not the only one on here with that problem.

No ma'am, that is not me in the LCD screen, Though, I am in all the soccer team photos on the back right hand side.
To find a more clear picture of myself, you would have to search the pictures that Maddie the intern took at the 2010 UPEW...
She posted them somewhere on the old forums. But trust me, It is not worth the search, I assure you. your time is much better spent not searching.
