PDF output seems to be provided by Altium and PADS, as well as Pulsonix. DipTrace is more of a hobbyist product than those packages, so it probably isn't as important.
The point is that "many" in the target audience may never see the schematic because it is not in a readily available and easily accessible document, and they may not be authorized to download some tool on their workstation.

I use PDF creator, and it works perfectly.
It has been used also by Alibre (3D modeler) as a 2D pdf creator. They use a separate engine when creating 3D pdf, but for 2D they rely on this free tool. If you haven't installed it yet they offer the pdf creator install.

I just ordered two boards, and chose the new USPS international mail option - only $2.24 to the UK. I won't have to pay any duty and VAT as the total is well under the £33 limit.
I still cannot find any links to the PCB or schematic files. How did Leon get them? This question has been asked several times and still no definitive answer. Help??
Hey Dave, our engineers and web team are working on making these files available this morning. Everybody who has anything to do with QuickStarts is quarantined until these files are posted on both web sites.
I have a request for an addition to the schematics if an update is going to be made at some point.
On the first page (I'm looking at the PDF), it shows J1 and J3 - the 40 pin female header and corresponding vias.
It would be useful if there were labels on J1 and J3 in the schematic showing where pins 1, 2, 39, and 40 are located. These are printed on the board but not shown on the schematic.
It's not too hard to figure it out, but labels on the schematic would make it clear. Also, since P0 and Vin are on opposite corners a mistake could lead to some less than pleasant surprises.

schill, I've alerted David Carrier to this post (QuickStart Product Owner).

@Leon, I thought the "low value consignment relief" was only £18 ?
Thanks, Ken Gracey

The files will also be available on Parallax Semiconductor shortly.
Enjoy!
QuickStart Schmatic (DipTrace)
We were charged per letter, but it turns out we had a coupon for 1/2 off vowels.
Thanks Leon.

(or the links associated with the texts are swapped .... ;P )
File names and positions flopped, original hosting data updated; thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Thanks also for the quick responses to posting the files. I appreciate it.
(Now looking forward to seeing the new battery packs we saw prototypes of at UPEW!)
