I've verified that the TSC2007 touch-screen controller works with the LCD.
Additionally it means I can now monitor the temperature in the enclosure and the battery voltage.
So, at this point I know all the motherboard hardware will function with a few board changes. Once I get the cartridge boards (due in my office today) and verify them, I'll start a new motherboard revision build.
Now that I'm into this project for about $1000 non-recurring engineering cost the question becomes will I ever break even? I'll post price information next week.

I'm happy with standby mode. With Propeller in "repeat waitcnt" loop, the unit uses less than 10ma.
I should have Flash cartridge boards (and others) Monday.
