What parts do I need to this complete kit?

Hi all -
I purchased 5 Schmartboard Modules from Fry's today, but unfortunately they don't come with the Prop chip and some other components.

I almost didn't buy them since I was going to have to order the parts anyway - but I wanted to support Fry's since they carry some Parallax inventory at all.

So... besides the Prop Chip and crystal, what do I need?

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Paul

Thanks for that link - I should make it clear that this is not the kit from Parallax directly. This is a kit that Fry's sells:

I bought it know I needed to order parts - just thought I'd try to get it all on the same order.

Doggiedoc, I look forward to hearing the results of your project. Sounds like you could make some really cool multi-prop stuff with 5 boards!

Ooops. I can't find the resistors or the rubber feet on the Parallax Store - so I'm ordering 5 of the kits and can use the extras to flesh out these boards. I'll have to conjure up some rubber feet locally.

So....... that means I'm going to have 10 little boards to play with!! (Don't tell my wife!)

Home Depot or Lowes will have rubber "cabinet door bumpers" in their hardware sections; they work the same as rubber feet.

Got the goods today!! It really came fast! I have learned that USPS gets here in about 3 business days where as UPS Ground takes 7-8. LOL

I almost always use USPS if I can - They're quick, and they're cheap. Why UPS ground is the de-facto is beyond me. You'll have to render an opinion on difficulty once you've had a chance to populate one of those boards. I'm curious as to how tricky that little eeprom is to solder.

@JasonDorie - I was just looking at that SMT eprom - it is very tiny!!

As for the default to UPS over the faster, cheaper USPS - I suspect it's for accountability. You get insurance and tracking with UPS - good for buyer and seller.

Just soldered on the first Prop, eprom, and crystal - but not found on in prop tool. I put sockets in for the crystal so I'm hoping that's it.

OK, I'm a complete retard. The prop plug goes on flipped compared to the PEK. :D
