Here is a little code problem which could drive someone nuts...

I copied an example from a pdf file and it had this...

’0011’

But that did not work! Instead I needed this...

'0011'

’ is ASCII hex 92
' is ASCII hex 27

255 character ASCII Chart...

One looks like an apostrophe, and the other a single quote. You need the latter.

I run into this sort of thing all the time in Word when typing code examples. Instead of

    "This is a string."

    I get

    “This is a string.”

which can't be copied and pasted into a code editor and expected to run. It's really annoying.

Huh? Wha? A Microsoft product that causes computer glitches of one kind or another?

    I'm.... I'm shocked!
