WOW, I always knew the Forum crowd was resourceful! I want to thank everyone for their continued interest and participation. This is a wonderful online baby photo contest. It doesn't get much purer and simpler than that. It is very important that we adhere to the spirit of the contest and set a good example for everyone following this thread. I was (and many of us were) surprised and highly motivated to hear that someone had 900-1000 votes. Competition brings out the creative side in us all.
I take full blame for wishing out loud that I be able to accrue votes faster than one per day. Learned people (much smarter than I) rose to that technical challenge and found workarounds. VERY effective workarounds! There is no doubt that the contest could be won in this manner. I'm sure this was an earnest attempt to be overly helpful, and no malice was intended. As ever, I am humbled at the collective knowledge available here!
That said, I want to play by the rules. Win or lose, fair participation is important, and I will limit my voting to one per day. I ask that everyone else does the same, stick to one vote per day. As OBC says, karma is very important!
In that spirit, I hope to get a few posts in this thread edited.
I have really enjoyed following this thread. The comments are great. It's that human connection and feeling of participation makes it fun.
XLNT! My Facebook posse is finally coming on strong after a long quiet lull. We might just have a horserace if everyone keeps voting! Thanks, all! 12 voting days to go, make 'em count!
The $25K scholarship is the big prize to go to one of the monthly winners. AFAIK, the monthly winners are selected strictly by online voting, and Gerber picks from those for the scholarship. These days, $25K doesn't go as far towards college as it used to, huh?
It's all fun & games until my two twin girls have to compete against each other! Assuming we get that far...
Please continue voting once daily and thanks again for your support!
Attached pic of Amy is a few months old, but one of my favorites. The first time she pulled herself up to a standing position against a mirror. (No, that's not her identical twin ) Even she looks surprised!
Wow, how are things stacking up? I just voted and i think it was 500 something! Haha erco you should vote change your ip and vote again! that would be cool though if you could make a program to change your IP and have a hotkey (idk is it that easy)... sorrry kinda off topic but good luck!!
Another pic to keep the voting momentum going! Here are the twins about one hour after being born (10-1/2 months ago) in a particularly cute shot, lokks like Lindsey (L) is kissing Amy (R). No, it wasn't posed!

@eod punk: WOW, we have some work to do to catch up to 958 votes. Time to network everyone!

@W9GFO - I am casting one a day faithfully...
Casting one vote each day... Don't want to cheat.

I guess it is looking at my ip address and disqualifying me.
Those are two really cute babies you have there!
