I too was going to say "Spider", with the slogan, "Putting a new Spin on the web" :) "Spinning the web for you with ease"
But "Spider" has already been suggested, so I thought I'd put my slogans in also, as you may like them :)
Edit: I also like computer guy's "Build your own web" :)
Thanks for the compliments on the graphic guys.
Having said that, "Spider" was Yendor's idea. I just got bored and did some graphic design.
@Yendor, thanks for promoting my stickers.
I have changed the graphic a bit (I think it explains what it does a bit better).
If Parallax want to use any aspect of the graphic they are free to use it. I am happy to send them the Vector version in either EPS or AI format.

Thanks everyone for your input. I present your ideas to our marketing department, and we settled on "Spinneret Web Server". We never would have thought that one word could combine the Propeller (and its Spin programming language) with the internet (and its world wide web) in a single word. Yendor came up with the spider theme, and ElectricAye suggested spinneret. They will each receive a Spinneret Web Server, as soon as they are available.
Thanks again,
David Carrier
P.S. As Yendor pointed out, the Propeller has eight cogs and a spider has eight legs and eyes. By coincidence, the Spinneret Web Server will also have 8 LEDs, and there are eight lines in an Ethernet connection.
I had to keep re-reading the name spinneret because I kept on thinking it was "spinnernet". Hopefully this doesn't cause confusion for people when searching online for it. Bean's suggestion for "Spinnerette" made the spelling much more obvious.

Wow! Thanks! That's very generous of y'all. It sounds like it's going to be an awesome product. I only hope I'm smart enough to get it to work. Does this mean I'll be able to control my Props via the internet? Does this mean I can tweak my lab experiments without getting out of bed in the morning/afternoon?
BTW I love the spider graphics ComputerGuy has done. It's impossible to imagine a logo better than what he's created.
Regarding PropNet - it was partially available. I have used the name on a Propeller/Ethernet product that is a prototype of the soon to come Spinneret Web Server.
UPEW (at Parallax) provides a deadline we aim to meet at the end of June. Every product in Parallax has a product owner and this one is run by David Carrier. He also works in Technical Support so he's very busy, though he has support from our engineering department for bill of materials, purchasing setups, prototype development with manufacturing, etc. I'll be sure to jump in and make sure that our processes are followed and everybody is communicating. I don't see why we wouldn't be in full production by early August at this stage, pending input from Timothy Sweiter for the firmware.
For price, David is shooting for $49 and I want to meet that goal if possible. This product is fully Made in the USA, so that adds at least $10 to our cost. Of course we have other motivations to keep the price low - this one will serve as an entirely open Propeller reference design.
Shown below is a picture with David Carrier, Ken, and David Kim (CTO of WizNet) at Parallax last week in our soon-to-be "old conference room". The new room doesn't have as much hobby stuff hanging around. . .more on that transformation later. What's important about our work with WizNet is that we have their total support for long-term collaboration, including design contests and an efficient connection between our customers and their company as a supplier. We don't take on too many designs, but what we do we aim to do properly.
Just the motivation I need to get back to working on the drivers and software design. I finally made it back to Singapore and am getting settled and can plan my evenings and weekends for working on the software.

+1 for "Build your own web" too. With just that, you don't need "web server", and it sparks curiosity, confidence and dominance.
Awesome graphic too, computer guy! That's what I'm talking about! I'm also glad you didn't put a propeller hat on him! ;o)
Like I said, I'd buy the product, the hat and the t-shirt!
I like Baggers' too, but it doesn't scream 'hobbist, engineer, and prowness" like "Build your own web".
Another take is "Spin your own web".but I still like 'Build' better'.

New ICON coming, gotta wait for the INK to heal, now we have colour!
Personally, I'd call it "PropNet Server", in case there's a line of web enabled products, like "PropNet TV" or "PropNet Radio"...
I think Heater mentioned "PropNet" first...
But, I just bought some surface mount ENC28J60 chips, so I'm glad the name "PropNet" is still available :)

I too think computerguy's logo, is great, and the positioning of the writing and with the spider towering over it, it's perfect.
