I was watching Cosmos (again) the other day and Sagan kept saying "If we do not blow up ourselves before we should be reaching the stars a way or another". He is right in both arguments: Money should be spent in useful developments (not the ones that blow things(beings) up) and progress (not that I didn't knew it before...).
Governments do not seem interested in the space exploration so the only way is private funding. I'm all for a space program !
Edit: this comment just goes to another thread! what a mess
I found a case that will fit these PSBs very nicely. It's a black Serpac Project Enclosere from Frys Electronics. They are 4.9" x 6.9" x .92" and only cost $9.
Bill: Looks like a great metal enclosure! I think Chuck at MountainKing Tech is working on an acrylic case... But, there are times when metal is better.
Stefan: Sounds about right! I do have dreams for a cool OS and apps for the PSB, but they are perhaps not as grand... But, with a Ramblade connected,
I think there will·be some impressive stuff coming...
Hi Ray, fantastic! Ship more soon! Seeing is believing! Just saw the demo code before I wanted to go to bed, now I'm a bit more tired and will sleep even better! ErNa

I've already backlogged with orders for 12 units, so that should keep me busy for a while...
Here's photos of the fully assembled first unit (note that the through-hole components
[for TV, VGA, KB, Mouse] are shown installed, but they will actually come in a bag for optional installation)
(also, displays are sold seperately):

I'm going to cut a "window" in the front and trim it with Aluminum. I've also got a sparkfun 2000mAh battery that I'm going to power it with.

Just got the Wifly working!· I'm pretty happy that this scheme actually works...
Here's a photo of the basic wiring that lets me talk to the Wifly over the PSBs USB connection.· I'm using Parallax serial terminal to talk to it.·

It actually works pretty well. I was motivated by the desire to take a PSB with me on vacation so I can play around using FlashPoint RamPage on it...
Anyway, here's some photos of what it looks like:
