My cat "shadow" is aptly named because the only time I see her is when she wants to be fed or when one of my shelties is chasing her.
BTW I used to work on CATS-the big yellow diesels;) hehe!

"Just remember: Cats rule. Dogs drool."

This is a common mis-quote. It should be "Cats rule dogs' drool."

If you want to go geeky:

Token
Variable (Var for short)
GoTo
Bit
Octal
Not-a-Number (NaN or Nan for short)
Ocicat
BaudRate (Baud or Baudy for short)

Cats are great. We have %11 of 'em. Used to have %101 of 'em.

My neighbor must have named her cat, "kitty", because all I ever hear several times a day is, "Here kittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykittykitty!" And yes, she does seem to go that long. =)

Mess with her head.
Record her breathless "kitty kitty" sometime and then put the recording on an infinite loop and have it start up at the same time she does.
After she's done, your recording continues... "kitty kitty" ....and goes on and on and on....

Either that or use a spray bottle full of water and spritz her face a few times. Not only will she stop calling for "kitty" but she'll also stop peeing in your rose bushes, too.

I have found garden hoses set to half pressure work pretty well, too.

We named one of our many adopted strays after the Multics OS. When we finally got him fixed we changed his name to Unix.
