Download "WhatsThis.zip", unpack and copy the file "ABSDF.NFS" to the root of a SD card.
Run the right version for your propeller setup and enjoy.

You need to have TV and sound connected on the same pins as the demo board.

SD0_NTSC.binary = NTSC version with SD card on pin 0-3.
SD16_NTSC.binary = NTSC version with SD card on pin 16-19.
SD0_PAL.binary = PAL version with SD card on pin 0-3.
SD16_PAL.binary = PAL version with SD card on pin 16-19.

I'll capture the first part and upload it in a bit...
The laptop I'm on today doesn't have the horsepower to capture it cleanly.
If someone could capture the first 8 min it would be handy.

You guys will have to run it for the quiz part..
Has anyone started solving the quiz?

    Hello Ahle2

    This is really great !!!

Funny enough, last week I searched some information in the Net about the same Chip to do an Emulator. But now, I can remove it from my list of waiting projects. Or maybe not? - I think for me it's easier and more fun to reprogram the whole code, than solving this quiz (- no, not really, I work on other projects, and wait until somenone else solves it).

Just find an old pair of amped computer speakers and connect to P10 and P11. roll.gif
(I haven't run the code yet, so I don't even know if or what sound comes out.)

    Ahle2,

Can you do a version that runs at 16*6Mhz and tv pins start at 12, and audio = pins 0,7, and SD starts at pin 8

    Cheers,
    Baggers.

    Is it on PLL*16 and 6Mhz ?
Are your video timings taking this speed into consideration?
Anyone got a running video of this? so I can see it?

    Cheers,

PS, it doesn't work on Coley's also.

    Ahle2,

Well what is it then for those of us that can't run it......?

I tried your binary on my Hybrid, it's set to run at 96MHz which is correct and I have loaded the file onto a known working SD card but I still get nothing.

    Hybrid setup is as follows:-

    6MHz Crystal * 16 PLL
    Audio on P0 and P7
TV on P24..P27 Standard Parallax Video DAC
SD on P8..P11, d0, clk, di, cs

If we can get it to work then I can do a movie capture and put it on youtube.

    Regards,

    Coley

It's seems to be a hard nut to crack.

    Here are some clues:
Most of the games are among the best known and many of them are included in the "100 Commodore 64 games in 10 minutes!" (maybe 40%).
Most tunes are made by the top 10 most beloved C64 musicians.
If you have got the name of the game or musician it's easy to find the other info as well using HVSC, STIL, Wiki, Gamebase 64 or whatever .
I have left some hard nuts in there, but i think it shouldn't be any problem solving 90% of them by working together. ( in this thread )

Start asking questions to me in this tread and i will give you some clues.

Is there anyone that knows 40 of them yet?

    Here is a clue!
    - 6:40 into the video.

And a personal favourite of mine.

It's a very hard and unforgiving game.

No hard nuts left i think
