Here is a few more pictures of the progress.
Something I will tell ya if you try to run the software without the hardware, the program will hang on the ping and i2c routines. To see the program, comment out those i/o's

Is that screen shot of the parameters using the 3.0" display from our site? It looks great - if I do say so.
What software are you using there on the PC to create your gauges and display data? Are you logging data on the PC for analysis later review to check on flight mission status or to review to improve the code?

This is Jordi and Chris Anderson's work...I adapted the ground station to work with my Prop autopilot. Shots are from my PC monitor and a Video monitor on the AP status...Looks as good on the 3" display tho !! But when I am working on this....I need the 22" display !
Here is their code...
Well, I am able to read data and get it into variables from the Sparkfun 6DOF module now. I am going to incorporate it into the autopilot soon. I think that should be the last sensor needed. Then on to the onscreen display. I do have an lm1881 sync separator chip so I am part way there. I may need to add another prop as I an running out of cogs ! Looking towards the prop II.
I am following this and the DIY drones threads. I purchased this board on Ebay, and wondering that in your opinion, how easy or difficult would it be to implement OSD and some sensor measurements with the use of this board: http://www.futurlec.com/P8X32_Controller.shtml
I am thinking about telemetry onboard the plane, along with FPV video. This board would·measure, process the data and superimpose it·over the video. The video-out of this board with the superimposed telemetry data and FPV video would be sent to the ground via a normal 1.2 GHZ 800mw video transmitter.··Thanks for any inputs.
That's ok BUT you can get a propeller proto board fot $29, the mouse, kbd, vga add on $14, and easily build your own TV out with 3 resisters and an rca connector. You will also need a prop plug to program it $24...
So maby for $45, it's not such a bad deal because it has rs-232 programming built in.
Thank you. It did come with a serial DB9 connector for downloading codes. Not knowing much about SPIN, I assume that once I figure this board's In/OUT porting assignments, I will try the codes you have written for the various sensors, and OSD eventually.
Thank you for your excellent work! If there is any way I could help...
What kind of an accuracy/resolutions are you getting with the Ping? How does it perform over different surfaces and with different speeds?
Can you post a diagram or soemthing of your core hardware setup? I would love to adapt your code to my exisiting propeller development board in addition to ArduPilot, but with my extremely limited knowledge, I do not know if it would require some extensive coding/reconfiguration. I posted the layout info and the (unfortunately Thai language) manual. Would appreciate any input and advice.·

I had no idea you were posting inthe sandbox
Keep it up - I wish I had the contiguous time to spend developing - its looking good.

Couldn't resist that !
Here is newest code...If ya want to change it OR make it faster, better, meaner...
