I've just been informed that it was dkemppai who figured out the need for the pull-down resistor on the clock generator, as well as the 2.2V brownout reset setting to stop things from going haywire. We really appreciate dkemppai's efforts in helping us to get the new USB SX-Key straightened out.
I just got a rev a usb in the mail today, it does not debug, I have been programming sx for over a year now, So I know its not me or my configutation. I had a serial key thatt worked perfectly untill I lost it. Anyway, its order 226269 and here is what itt is doing...
It programs, using 92 beta, but debugging buttons are greyed out on 2 pc's, the sx proto tech board I got today, 2 proto boards I bought last year, and numerous solderless setups I have here all sx28's.
Could this one, rev a , dated 2007 be one that slipped though the cracks?
Sean,
What frequency are you clocking at ?
The USB SX-Key has a different clocking range. I think it only goes down to just below 4MHz.
