Where are the Avatars?

  If the animated one I have is an annoyance, I'm happy to change it. Really.
  
  When scrolling through posts, the images make it very easy to identify who is who. I miss them.
  
  In all other ways, I found the upgrade very nicely done!

  I liked yours potatohead. I hope it's just a setting that Parallax hasn't enabled yet, because I'd like to have an avatar myself.

  I agree, I liked the avitars. But the most important thing is that the Transition to new softwared has gone remarkably well. Downtime was minimum, All the old data (short some attachements) is here. Our logins and user profiles are still available, resetting PW is no big deal.

  Have noticed that PM's have all gone, will they be transferred over to this new forum?

  nope you need to log into the old version to get your pms. I here they will stay until the end of the year so back the important ones up.

  Actually, PMs do work... just click on the users name and a drop down menu will pop up that will allow you to send them a PM.
  
  It's just that they didn't move over our old PMs to the new forum software.

  We will look at transferring the PMs later this week. Once we are sure we have it right, we'll test it again before we use it.
