I have just finished attaching the propeller DIP up to my homemade board.
I have a light connected to each regulator via a 1k resistor.

5v-->1k-->led-->GND

3.3v-->1k-->led-->GND

If i connect the propplug up to my board the 3.3v power light comes on.
I have checked all my wiring with a multimeter.

Is this normal?

Thank you smile.gif

    This often happens when programmers are attached without a supply being present - enough current sneaks back to the supply though the device pins to light an LED.

    I don't think so, apart from putting a diode in the supply. It doesn't cause any harm. You could always remove the LED if it bothers you. lol.gif
