sxkey Vdd current?

Does anybody know how much current the sxkey rev.F draws when
programming and when not programming but just connected to a board?
Makes it any difference if there is a 20MHz resonator fixed on the board?
The board has a sx18ac/dp chip.

regards peter

I haven't actually measured it, but make sure your power supply can squeeze out at least 1A.
The SX-Key should work if there is a resonator. The resonator itself will not draw any power.

My SX28 ProtpBoards really HONK with a 75MHz OSCer in 'em (>100mA.)· The slower OSCers use less current, but I haven't tried anything less than a 50MHz.
