The least expensive LCD's that can easily be connected to a Basic Stamp is a Hitachi HD44780 compatable display. Use Google to search for them. These displays are available from many surplus electronics suppliers for around $5 for a 2 x 16 display. The HD44780 is a parallel interface and requires at least 7 pins to interface with a Basic Stamp. i am from puerto rico and really i start with my boe-bot about 1 month and don't really know how pins and how many characters i need. I just only want a recomendation of where i can find one in my house or in a store that cost about 20 dollars. The thing is that i don't want to buy it from internet.
